About me Business Qualification : Computer Science Engineer (Informatiker FH/STV)

Short Bio : In my professional life I started out as a civil engineer. Soon after I decided to move on, so I went to the University of Applied Science in Biel to study computer science. In 2002 I suspended my studies for a yearlong internship in the United States, where I was working for the Redwood Software Inc. in San Jose, CA. During this internship I learned the ropes of Java programming. I graduated in February 2004 and kept on working for Redwood Software on a free-lancing basis. In April 2005 I got hired by the Synlogic AG to work on financial software in the City of Bern. Since February 2006 I am with Centris AG, working on a BPM (Business process management) solution based on Java EE technologies.

Skills : I have been developing Java software professionally since 2001. Apart from working with established Java EE tools/frameworks I like to tinker with cutting edge technologies. New approaches in web development is one of my favorite topics.
